So here we are at Smallwood Manor School in Uttoxeter - so far about 80 people have arrived with a stead stream of others who are making their way from as far afield as Paris and Essen.

Dinner was served by the Buddhafield team (curry, as is traditional on the first night on retreat!) and games of table tennis are already underway! Unfortunately the swimming pool is empty so we can't have any midnight dips!

Looking forward to the dedication ceremony this evening where we will all have to resist the urge to slam dunk the Buddha in the sports hall (the rupa is directly underneath the basketball hoop as the shrine room is in the school gymnasium!)
